Professor James Goodwin

Professor James Goodwin is Director of Science and Research Impact at Brain Health Network (www.brain.health). He is the former Chief Scientific Officer of Age UK and was a founding staff member of the Global Council on Brain Health - currently serving as a Special Advisor to the Council. At Age UK, he was responsible for advising the Age UK Board of Trustees, the Group Chief Executive, the Charity Director and the Board of Directors on research trends and current thinking on ageing. He has been a member of numerous expert bodies, including a UK Ministerial Advisory Group on Dementia Research, the UN Research Agenda for Ageing panel, the UN Digital Health Group, and a WHO Advisory Group.
